MUA 'Undress Your Skin' Illuminating Foundation

Not so long ago, I treated myself to a little MUA & MAC haul and this was one of the (many) items I purchased.. (I'll do a blog post on everything else soon!)

This foundation is part of MUA's new ''Undress Your Skin' range, which is currently on promotion on the front page of their website! I clicked into it and seen that the Foundation was £3 instead of £5 for it's introductory price, so I decided I'd give it a go!

Truth be told, I really wasn't expecting much from this foundation due to the price but it turns out I absolutely LOVE it! I bought it in the shade 'Porcelain', which I will admit is slightly too light for my actual skin colour, but when it's blended out with face powder and bronzer it actually looks lovely!

It gives a lovely dewy finish to the skin as there's a few sparkles mixed into the foundation, making your skin look more radiant! Its got a light-medium coverage and is going to be perfect for coming into the spring and summer whenever you don't necessarily want to wear a lot of make-up on your face.

I applied this to my face this morning, covered up with powder and bronzer and went shopping, and it hasn't budged since! It hasn't slipped at all and I've not got any patches on my face where it's worn off, so I'm absolutely chuffed with it!

For the price I definitely think it's worth a try, especially if you don't want to wear expensive foundation everyday, I think this is a great alternative! It comes in 3 shades: Porcelain, Beige and Golden.
I definitely think I'll give the Beige a try next time to see if it's a better match for my skin!

As part of the range, MUA also has a Under-Eye concealer, Highlighting Powder and a Skin Primer; there is also a 'Undress Me Too' Eye Palette which may be linked to the new range... I think I'll definitely making an order from MUA again soon to try out the other products in the range after being so impressed with this one!

Have you tried any of the MUA 'Undress Your Skin' range?
What did you think of it?
Leave me a comment & let me know!

Nails of the day!

After heading Rimmel had released new smaller nail polishes I made a straight dash to SuperDrug to grab some! They're a steal at £2.99 each!

I bought shade 430 'Coralicious' & 825 'Sky High'!

I think they're both really pretty colours, and perfect for spring! I had been wearing OPI 'A Thrill From Brazil', and I think that these two colours together have really lifted my nails and cheered me up from all this miserable weather we've been having! It's FREEZING here in Northern Irelandi hope Manchester won't be as bad when I return tomorrow!

Here are some pictures of how the colours look on my nails, a swatch and the bottles of the nail polish!

Have any of you tried the new Rimmel colours? What do you think of the smaller bottle size? :)

My first MAC experience..

Being a bit of a lagger-behind in the makeup department until about my £19th birthday I've only really started thinking about making 'investment purchases' in the beauty department!

So after watching 10 million YouTube videos and hearing other people's comments I decided to give MAC a try!

I bought the Studio Finish Concealer in shade NW15.. Got it in the lightest shade as I wanted something that would lighten underneath my eye and make me stop looking like a zombie/other ghoulish creature.

So far I really like it, and I think it's working! My undereye circles are nowhere near as bad as they had been! Combining this with the Collection 2000 much raved about concealer is working wonders for me!

I also bought the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder in shade 'light plus' and I absolutely love it! Definitely the nicest powder I've ever used in my lifey! Good recommendation by my bestie @BeccasBeautySpot (hope that link works)!

Definitely impressed by MAC so far and I have another delivery of products coming to my door next week.. Someone take my bank card off me before I completely blow my student loan!

Hope this has made any make-up worriers like myself perhaps make the plunge into the world of MAC :)

Hi everyoneeeeee! I'm a newbie!

Hi everyone!
I'm Rachel, I'm 20 and I'm quite new to the bloggersphere!

I started watching after my best friend Becca introduced me to the apparently never ending world of beaut blogs, vlogs and YouTube videos!

I was a bit of a 'late bloomer' when it came to makeup, and truth be told I'm really only beginning to get excited and experimental now! I'm a crime against girls everywhere I know!

I'm in no way qualified but I hope to be able to give my own opinions on fashion, beauty, shoes, and whatever else really tickles my pickle!

I hope you'll all enjoy my posts and I'll speak to you quite soon! :-)
