Haul time!

Hi Hi!
So in my last post about my family's visit I mentioned that over the few days I had went shopppping!
As you can tell before, shopping is a major hobby of mine, I would probably put it down as a skill on my CV because I love to bargain hunt that much!

This is just going to be a brief summary post of everything I bought, and links to the products if I can find them online (some were sale items!). If you'd like to see anything else in more detail, leave me a comment and I can do a more indepth post :)

Forever 21
Jade stone statement necklace - £3.99 (SALE)
Peach stone drop earrings - £3.15

Pink & gold multi chain necklace - £4.99 (SALE)
Hoop and stud multipack - £3.90

Coral & gold statement necklace - £4.99 (SALE)
I love Forever 21's jewellery, it's always so reasonably priced and really effective. I do hate their website though, it's so hard to find ANYTHING on. Hence why there's no links! Sorry guys! Worth a nosey in store if you're interested in any of the sale pieces though!

Paperchase
Owl Lunchboxes - £7.50
I know these lunchboxes are out of stock on ASOS, but they're not on Paperchases website either :( but hopefully there will be some left in store! This is a pack of 4 mini lunchboxes, they're perfect size for bringing in fruit and yoghurt, and so much prettier than my old boring tupperware boxes! Paperchase also give 10% student discount, so these cost me £6.75!

Boots
So obviously Boots is where I spend the most money.. Typical! This particular day the Daily Mail had a £5 off voucher if you spent £30, so obviously I did. Unfortunately I don't have up close pictures or swatches of the two eyeshadows, one was smashed when I was taking the pictures in Starbucks (lol, classy) so as I humped off to get another one, I forgot to take pictures.. If you google the names I'm sure there will be swatches online :)

Supercolour Fabulipstick in 'Pom Pom' - £9.00
Supercat Eyeliner Pen in 'Carbon Black' - £6.00

Super Liner Perfect Slim Intense in 'Blue' - £6.99

Two eyeshadoes are Seventeen Solo Eyeshadows in 'Shocking Pink' and 'Viva Diva' and these are £3.89 each!

Topshop

Stippling Brush - £4.00 (SALE)
Gel Liner Brush - £2.00 (SALE)
Tweezers - £2.00 (SALE)

Zebra iPhone 5 Case - £1.00 (SALE)

So that's just a very brief overview of what I bought when the fam were over!
If you'd like anymore info or a post on anything specific let me know and I can do that!
Thanks to everyone for reading :)

What I bought.. Haul!

Evening you lovely lot!
Last Sunday I decided I needed to treat myself, so I popped off into Crawley and visited the County Mall. Now, when you're used to the Arndale and the Trafford Centre this is a bit of a downgrade! I would even say that the Buttercrane at home in Newry is better, but I couldn't be bothered going to London so it was my only choice! I'm trying to pick up a few more 'exciting' things for work now I've settled in and seen what other people are wearing! At the start I was playing it very safe with pencil skirts and blouses, but I've kind of learnt it's okay to have a little bit of fun with what I wear!

So, let's get on with the fashion show then!

Primark

'Hang In There' 10 Non-Slip Hangers - £4.00
These are my favourite hangers ever (how sad do I sound?!) but honestly, I love the furry material on these! They keep all my clothes actually on the hanger rather than at the bottom of my wardrobe! Definitely worth the pricetag! I chose the mint green & grey option this time! I already have about 20 pink ones of these so I thought I should switch it up a little bit!

Angel Sleeve Dress - £13.00
I love the print of this dress! That's what attracted me to it! The colours are so bright as well! It's actually got split sleeves as well so you can flash a little bit of skin without flashing a whole bingo wing! It's a decent length, about an inch and a half above the knee so still appropriate to wear to work without tights! Result in this heatwave we're experiencing at the minute!

Weave Peeptoe Pumps - £8.00
I desperately needed a shoe update, all of my pumps are falling to pieces! How cute are these both? The brown ones are perfect for wearing with the above dress, really cute! You needa make sure your toes are in tip top condition with that peeptoe though! ;-)

Chain Moccasin Loafers - £8.00
I've seen a lot of people rocking a good moccasin lately and I wanted to join in, they are super expensive though so when I seen these I was all over it! These are from the Wide Fit section, but they're really not Wide Fit! I'd be fearful of the normal version! They're a suedey type material so keep away from any puddles that might appear after a midnight storm!

3 Chain Necklace - £4.00 - £2.00
I haven't bought any jewellery in a while, which has been tough for me I can't lie. I'm like a magpie I LOVE SHINY THINGS. I do have a cheeky order coming from Blacktied that you'll see soon though I hope! But anyway I thought this necklace was pretty edgy but still understated 'coz all the chains are so small! So I'll still be able to wear it into work without looking like 2 Chainz. Plus it was in the sale for £2.00!! That's like basically free.

River Island

Floral Peplum Top - £30.00 - £15.00
Another little sale purchase! This was reduced to £15.00 in River Island and I had to nab it! The floral design is gorgeous, white background, navy detailing and then really black bordering (which doesn't show up very well on camera!)! Everyone says don't mix navy and black but I love it! This will be getting worn with my black pencil skirt for work, and a black mini and leather jacket at night!

Debenhams

Red Herring Floral Print Dress - £30.00 - £9.00
Now I know this isn't gonna be everyones cup of tea, but let me firstly justify it as it was £9.00, you don't even get dresses in Primark for that price, never mind a decent quality dress from Debs! This isn't your typical 21 year old style dress, but they actually suit me so well, little bit of cleavage, in at the waist and a nice length! It's perfect for work, it'll probably never get worn anywhere else other than work but that's fine.. for £9.00 I don't blinkin' care!

Boots

No 7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes - £7.00
My holy grail wipes! Worth every penny, but I always wait until Boots do the £5 off vouchers, so they only cost me £2.00! Bargain!

Nivea Invisible Anti-Perspirant - £1.07
The only deodorant I've ever used that actually doesn't stain any clothes. The best I've ever used.

Batiste Dry Shampoo 'Blush' - £2.99
I always seem to buy this when it's NOT on offer, but I don't even care it's so worth it. The best out there. Holy grail!

Collection Eye Brow Definer - £2.79
I wanted to buy Soap & Glory's Triumph but it was all sold out! This was the best I could find! Let's see how it goes :)

Boots Essential Toothbrush - £0.79

So that's all I bought on my little adventure to Crawley's County Mall!
What do you think of my purchases?
Has anyone tried the Collection Eye Brow Definer? If so, what did you think of it?
Let me know!

Post-Lent Wishlist!

Heyaaaaaaa!
I have just submitted my final piece of coursework for second year and for today I am FREE!
(Until tomorrow when revision officially has to start. MEH.)
For Lent this year I gave up buying make-up.. Basically because I have FAR too much and I was buying make-up for the sake of buying it! I did end up buying clothes instead of makeup but hopefully now I'm gonna buy things I actually need rather than just want!!

However, 6 weeks of no make-up had resulted in me wanting quite a lot of stuff!!
Just wanted to do a quick wishlist, you can help me choose what I should or shouldn't buy!!

Helllooooo, look at this baby!!
It's a duochrome glittery polish and it's a beaut!
I've tried it out on my thumb and I had to do everything in my willpower to put it back on the shelf!
It's a polish that's gonna need a few coats but trust me it's worth the effort!
Proper summer nailpolish that would look beaut with a tan!
£2.99 in Superdrug!

Touche Eclat is a such a holy grail product, I think everyone wants to own it at some point in their life!
It's £25 so quite bloody steep, that's the main reason this little beauty has never been added to my shopping cart!! I do have £20 in online shopping vouchers coming my way from online surveys, so this might be a little treat!
The leopard print packaging is just gorgeous, gold and leopard print.. my favourite combo!

A little bit obsessed with these lipstains that dry matte at the minute!
They last alllll day, require very little effort and barely even need topped up!
They even last through the challenge of a night out with lots of drinks and a cheeky pizza at the end of the night! These Rough Edition Velvet's come in such a nice range of colours, pretty pinks to rouge reds and naughty nudes! At £8.99 these will definitely get tried out! Similar to the YSL Glossy Stains but a lot cheaper!!

So these are my top 3 wishlist products at the minute..
What do you think I should buy? Or should I just buy them all when Lent finishes on Sunday?
Thanks for reading guys!!

MAC Haul!

Bonjourrrr neighborinos!
I know it's been a while, I've been workinggg a lot and had enough uni work that you could probably climb it!

A fortnight ago, Selfridges had their Christmas event that offers 20% off the majority of everything they sell & 10% off all beauty products... I used my cunning plan of buying things that I wanted for Christmas before Christmas so I got to use the discount.. Sneaky ;-)

The main thing I wanted to buy was Ugg boots, I've had my eye on mini black Uggs for ageees! My tan classic short uggs are 4 years old now and they've had better days! These were excluded from the 20% off day, but they were 25% off instead both in Selfridges and Kurt Geiger.. I made the plunge and bought them, £130 to £97.50 - which I was extremely happy about!!

After my Uggs I found myself in the MAC section.. And I'm not gonna lie, I had such a splurging session!
Everything was 10% off which for beauty products is brilliant!

Here's a few pictures of what I bought!!

Select Cover-up Concealer - NC20
Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 - NC20

Retro Matte Finish Lipstick - Relentlessy Red
Satin Finish Lipstick - Faux

217 Blending Brush
All together this should have cost me £84.50, but with the 10% discount it came to £76.05.. I know this is steep but I'm gonna be getting money for Christmas so I will pay myself back :)

Have you got any of these products?? What do you think of them?
Leave me a comment and let me know :)

Treats to myselfffff!

Hellooooooo!
I have to admit I have been spoiling myself a bit recently, a few treats here and there, after work etc.. It needs to stop!! But I thought I'd let you see what I've purchased!!

Firstlyyyyyy... DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
Rihanna recently launched her Rihanna Hearts line for Autumn, and ohhhhh glory days it is BEAUTIFUL! Everything had the most gorgeous rose-gold packaging and all the colours were beautiful! Now mostly everything has unfortunately sold out online (click HERE to see if there's anything left!) but in a few stores there are a few bits and pieces left but it really is just pot luck! I was the lucky lady that managed to buy the last 'Riri Woo' in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.. Sorry to anyone that wanted to go and purchase it! It's a really matte deep red and it's gorgeoussss! It lasts for absolute donkeys on the lips and even manages to stay on quite well after eating and drinking! It is quite similar to Ruby Woo which is in the permanent collection but the girl instore said it's easier to apply and is not as drying on the lips! This little baby was £16.50 which I know is expensive.. But look at it - HOW COULD I SAY NO?!
There'll be a swatch further belowwww!

Neeeext.. As you know I flew home last week for my birthday, and unfortunately Terminal 1 at Manchester airport has a MAC counter... I however was VERY restrained and only treated myself to one eyeshadow! I bought 'Brown Down', a matte warm brown! Have a little looksy here! I really wanted a shadow like this for my day-to-day makeup look, I have an Urban Decay Naked palette but it just doesn't have a dark matte shadow for the outer corners of my eyes! In the airport products are Tax Free (I THINK :-/) so instead of £12.50 for this lovely little number I paid £10.40! It was a birthday present to myself and it is something I am gonna get a lot of use out of! Check it out below and see the swatch further belooooow.

They say to leave the best to last.. And I certainly have..
Have a little look at this beauty..

I am finally the proud owner of Nars 'Orgasm'!! Gorgeous peachy/pink blush with a hint of gold shimmer just running through the blush!! So so pretty on the skin, I now understand why this product has become such a cult product, I loveee it!! It can easily be worn as a daily blush, or layered up for a more dramatic look at nighttime! £21.50 for a blush seems steep, but when it's so wearable I think it's worth it! However I didn't pay £21.50! ASOS offers 10% student discount at all times, and you can buy it on ASOS HERE! But on Tuesdays if you have an O2 Priority code and you have a student discount code from Unidays you get 20%!! To most people this doesn't seem a lot, but any students know that this is a looooot! I paid £17.20 for the blush and I'm absolutely chuffed about this!! SO HAPPY ARGHHHH!! I also love how cheeky NARS name their products, very tongue in cheek!

L-R - 'RiRi Woo', MAC's 'Brown Down' and NARS 'Orgasm'
I know I've been on a complete shopping haul recently, and particularly high-end products but it has been my Birthday, my money is all spent now so I'm back to being a poor student so shopping is FINITO.
I hope you enjoyed reading this!
Let me know if you have any of these products and what you think of them!

High Street Beauty Purchases!

Hello everyone! It's been 2 months and I seriously apologise for that.. I've had SO much going on and my life has been chockablock with changes, from work to other more serious things! But I'm back and hopefully here to stay :-)

I've got myself a job and been treating myself to a few little splurges with my new wages... Haven't been going all out because saving for Manchester is my number one priority.. I need money for PARTYING!

Real Techniques Blush Brush & Powder Brush

I've been looking for these babies for a while, but everytime I go to Superdrug they've sold out! I found them in a local chemist and they were £1 than in Boots or Superdrug! Not much but every little makes a difference!

I also picked up a new MUA bronzer in Shade 1! This is my everyday bronzer and it's so cheap! Can't say no to something thats £1!!
Also grabbed a MUA Cream Blush in the shade 'Lush'.. It's a gorgeous barbie pink! Swatches further below!

L-R - Cream Blush in 'Sneakpeek' & Lipstick in 'Bombshell'
On a little trip with my bestie to Belfast I picked up some Topshop Lipstick and another Cream Blush in the sale! I know these babies were a limited edition collection at the beginning of their lives! The Lipstick was £9 originally and the Blush was £10 but I got these both for £3 each! The Lipstick is super barbie pink and I love it! The blush is a corally shade of pink and lovely as well! They also had the blush in an orange shade and a orange lipgloss! Worth looking out for if your in Topshop, bargains are hiding in the sale section somewhere! Swatches below!

I noticed the Kate Moss Lasting Finish Range for Rimmel was on offer at £3.99 on a recent trip to Superdrug so decided to pick up my first lipstick! This has been the hardest colour to photograph! Its a vivid orangey red but comes out pink on camera! It's Shade 22!
Theres a poor attempt at a swatch below!

L-R - Swatches
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Shade 22
Topshop Cream Blush in 'Sneakpeek'
Topshop Lipstick in 'Bombshell'
MUA Cream Blush in 'Lush'
I hope you all enjoyed this quick little post! I'll try and get into the swing of things again on my blog!
It's been a busy few months but I'm in the mood again to get my blogging hat on!

Talk soon lovelies!

Benefit goodies!

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/5205313/?claim=qruv9hagjnu">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>

Hello again!
Where has the sun gone? Last week we had a few gorgeous days.  And now there's been rain, hail and even SNOW in some places? So much for global warming.. Lets rename it global cooling!

Anyyhooooo...
When I was on the boat from Stranraer to Belfast last week, the weather was awful and then boat was a rocky ride home! They announced over the PA system that in the shop they had Benefit makeup for sale, so to try and rid myself of sea-sickness and possibly due to tiredness I went and had a little splurge!

I'd been wanting to repurchase a few Benefit items for a while but due to low money levels I was waiting to find them at a good deal! Turns out shops on the boats appear to be a bit like buying items in duty-free, meaning there's no tax to be paid on them... YAY FOR NO TAX! I treated myself to two items, the two I'd been wanting the most! And here they are!

I bought Benefit's "They're Real!" mascara and "The Porefessional" primer! They were both at a pretty good price so I thought why not? If you can't treat yourself who is ever going to ;-)

My mum bought me "They're Real" after a few (read: a lot) hints for Christmas and I loved it! I have super short, super stumpy lashes that refuse to become volumised or curl, but thanks to this amazing mascara I actually look like I have nice eyelashes! Amazing! I saved £2.50 off this onboard, which is pretty good to me! This mascara does dry up quite quickly, my previous one dried up in April, so I had about 4 months use.. It seems short but after all you are meant to change your mascara every 3 months to stop bacteria.. So it's short shelf life probably makes the product way more hygenic!!

My second choice was Benefits number 1 selling primer in the UK, "The Porefessional". I got a sample of this a year ago when I bought "That Gal" from ASOS and threw it away at the back of my spares drawer! I stumbled across it about October time and fell in love!! The mini sample nearly did me 6 months because you need so little! So I'm expecting this full sized version to stretch for a looooooong time! To buy this product now it will actually cost you £24.50, so I made a saving of almost £5! That's a big amount in the world of high end beauty! I love it's silicon consistency, really helps to minimise my pores, and my foundation goes on like a dream over it! Thank you ASOS for introducing this to my life!

These are my first ever high end makeup repurchases which is a pretty big deal to me! I was never brand loyal before, but after stumbling across these two beauties I think they'll definitely be a makeup bag staple!!

What are your favourite Benefit products? Let me know in the comments!
Or leave me links to any other blogs, I'd love to take a read and find out how to improve mine! I'm only learning!

Also, can anybody help me with my GFC button? It doesn't seem to work :-(

Chat soon dearies! Lets hope the weathers picked up a bit by then :-)
